Django London Meetup ¶
The Django London Meetup Group is a social meetup, we regularly hold a gathering the 2nd week of each month. The meetups are an occasion for all, you don't have to be a veteran Django developer, although an interest in Django and web development is advisable. :) We have a website at www.djangolondon.com. Amsterdam Python Meetup Group ¶
A group for anyone interested in Python, Django, cloud computing, deployment, provisioning, virtualization and related technologies. We'll meet up 3 to 4 times a year in Amsterdam, mostly @ HQ of hosting company Byte. All skill levels are welcome! Interested in doing a (lightning) talk or any other questions or suggestions? Get in touch with us! This group is for sharing knowledge and having fun so no external recruitment allowed. Btw, we recently got the question why we decided to introduce a small door fee. So here is our answer: In the past, we've had a guest list up to 150 people where only 20 people showed up (while we ordered food and drinks for everyone), so we've decided to ask a small fee to diminish this high 'no show' effect somewhat. This has proven to be quite effective. The raised fees we invest in the following meetup(s). It is really awful to eat pizza for lunch a whole week. Hope you all understand. Btw, Meetup only offers a Paypal solution to pay the door fee. If you don't have a Paypal account, please send us a message so we can figure something out. Furthermore; the attendants present at the meetup that was previously organised, will receive an invitation to join the next meetup for free.
