Old Business

Foundation tax status

Discussed the use of a post box service, like the PSF does. Decided to set this up using earthclassmail.com. The foundation will use this as the formal address for tax purposes and use directors addresses for ad-hoc reasons.

Board requested Andy to setup an account.

Djangoproject.com web design update

Andrew started work in September. Project at: https://github.com/django/djangoproject_redesign, example of current home page: https://github.com/django/djangoproject_redesign. Board discussed invoice and tax form.

Django Fellow

Request for $40k USD for a 3 month pilot project. Approved by the board. Applications close this Sunday.

Suggested that we go through the membership to ask for renewals to improve funding for the fellow.

DjangoCon US 2015

2014 was a success, 200+ people. Russell to do a blog post for 2015 with a call for volunteers. Questions over the 2015 contract a) would DSF be willing to take over the hotel contract or b) should we split profits with current contract owner.
