Chicago Django/Rails meetup

If you're in the area, you should come to Snakes and Rubies, a meeting of Python and Ruby Web programmers on Dec. 3 in Chicago.

David Heinemeier Hansson of Ruby on Rails will be presenting his creation, and I'll be presenting Django. We'll have spirited discussion, answer questions, etc. It should be quite fun.

I don't believe pre-registration is necessary; you can just show up.

UPDATE: Django developer Jacob Kaplan-Moss is coming up from Kansas to be there, too!

This is one event I wish I could attend but unfortunetely I live in Europe. Do you have plans to video tape the sessions?
I lived in Chicago for 2.5 yrs. Great city!
Cheers,
Alain

How about inviting the IT Conversations people to create a podcast of it? See http://www.itconversations.com/

Whoever can do it, please help make it available on video or audio podcast :)

When are we planning these meetings in Europe, or Amsterdam to be more exact? :) Have fun all!

We need something like this in the south. Hmm... Mayhaps I can find locals in the Little Rock/Memphis areas into doing something like this.
