Django Steering Council 2025 Year in Review
We were elected at the end of 2024 with the mission to revive and dramatically increase the role of the Steering Council. This year we've moved new feature proposals to GitHub, launched the Community Ecosystem page to highlight amazing third-party packages, and worked on simplifying our governance processes. We're meeting monthly, documenting everything better for future councils, and working on funding opportunities for upcoming features. It's been a productive year and we're aiming to make 2026 even better.
